Ching Ming Festival 清明節 Sunday, April 4, 2021
Yesterday was Ching Ming or Qingming Festival, or Tomb-Sweeping Day. It is a time for families to visit the cemetery of their ancestors by sweeping and cleaning off the tombs, burn incense and paper money for them, and present offerings of the prepared foods. Afterwards, the families would have a picnic to enjoy the rest of the day.
