On Saturday, May 1st at 10 a.m., PST, we will welcome Ester Benjamin Shifren, the descendent of British Jewish nationals who lived in Shanghai for more than one century. She has lectured extensively internationally about her life experiences. This presentation, moderated by Dr. Lawrence Baron, promises to be fascinating.

After Ester’s talk on Saturday, we’d like to call your attention to the premiere broadcast of the film, FAR EAST DEEP SOUTH (directed by Larissa Lam).
